Turf Pride Core Collector and Topdressing Cancel The title field is required!

   Curious to hear input from those who have topdressed their greens prior to aerifying when using the Turf Pride core collector. Does it work equally well regardless of whether the sand is wet or dry?? I would like to try this way, but don't have the luxury of waiting to aerify until the sand has dried from the sun.    We purchased our turf pride just prior to the june aerification. I was told by a few that it would pick up about 10% of the sand to apply a little more. We always topdress prior to aerifying so just bumped up the setting a little. We did a test run on the short course greens and had it dialed in. The 10% figure seemed pretty accurate. The weekend prior to our aerification we got 12" of rain. The wind had blown the tarps of off our sand and it got soaked. When the sand was soaked it was basically removed by the turf pride. So there is a difference from moist sand sitting in a pile to rain drenched sand. Hope that helps
