I was out and about today on the course and noticed fairy rings on some greens. Not a large amount, just large spots that are quite active. Have not had much issues with rings in the past. I really feel like pulling the trigger on a treatment. Just wanted to hear if anyone else has treated rings this time of year, and if successful.
    Thanx in advance.

I would say that if your soil temps are high enough to get rings, then you should go ahead and treat for them. I spray for fairy ring from June until September, after that I never see them. Besides, Pro Star is a nice broad spectrum fungicide that will clean up a lot of nastiness that may be lurking.....

I just treated some fairy ring 2 weeks ago with Toque Fungicide on Poa/Bentgrass greens. Then I am in Sunny San Diego, Ca. where the weather is 71 degrees today. Won't have to worry about fairy ring or yellow patch for quite a while after the Torque application.

For the past two years we made two Torque apps 30 days apart starting in January. We have had no Fairy Ring after this.

My rep said (before it was labeled for F-Ring) to apply it at .6oz's/M. Your doing it at half that and getting good results? Top of the TX Panhandle here.
