Does anyone have a genius way of transporting flagsticks so that the sticks don't get beat up during transport??

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

    Steven,

Standard (maybe Par Aide) makes those holders that you attach to the side of your cart.

Last course I was at, my mechanic and student (now the assistant) made something similar with a fishing rod holder.

We usually only had to carry one flag as we were on the 3 color flag pattern.

Unless you remove flags sticks at night why not just replace the flags. That seems to work for us.

Plain and simple we transport three flagsticks when changing cups one red, white, blue flag. Each on the cart in the glove box and then resting on a towel as it rides on the bed of the cart so it does not get scratched. Simple and effective as one can hold them with a hand so they do not go anywhere unexpected, but never had any issues as one is careful not in a rush. My cart is a John Deere Electric and I change the cups most days as well as checking green moisture with a meter, keeping track of it daily on a chart. I do that right after changing the cup to decide on the nightly watering if needed. Keep it simple methodology....

I use the 8' pre cut styrofoam that you would use to insulate out-door pipes
