I have not used Drive on my tifeagle but for the last three weeks I have been using basagran and Revolver at double rates spot spraying to remove killinga and goosegrass. Even at double plus rates I am not seeing hardly any injury. My next step will be using Drive the same way. While it has been a major pain to spot spray every area of killinga on all of my greens I did not feel comfortable boom spraying the whole green during my aerification season. My greens are almost completely weed free now and look a whole lot better. I had tried to use many chemicals to take out the killinga at their respective rates without hardly any success. I have noticed that the combonation of the two chemicals will also knock back the torpedo, just not remove it. Before I started spraying my greens I did test greens with each of the chemicals at 2-3 times the rate and one with both chemicals combined. I did this to ensure that using a wand and over lapping the spray pattern would not hurt my greens. It only showed a little off color was all.
If you do not have a lot of area to do a test with just split a ppg up into zones and do it with your chemicals. If you wait another week I will be doing it and will let you know what works for me.
