    Hello All....
Has anyone had experience with the Toro P-220 scrubber valves? We're putting in a large 2-wire decoder system with Toro controls and decoders. I'm wanting to know if it's better to stick with one manufacturer, solenoid, decoder, and valve, or install a Rain Bird PESB valve which seems to be a better valve. I have concerns with both ways....
Any thoughts or experience would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

Not familiar with the valves but the controller doesn't care as long as the solenoid for the valve is 24V and within the amp range for station. If you think the rain bird valve is better then use it!! As far as I know most valves use different solenoids than the heads anyway, but I've only used the res/com valves.

You can add flow data into the computer to match the valve specs, so go with the better valve.

We had a Toro decoder system installed in 2009. I have had problems with the valves off and on since installation. Not sure which Toro valve we have. What we ended up doing is installing an 855 head with an aqua quick on it. It will work 35, 4 inch pop ups no problem.
