Tee Mix Cancel The title field is required!

   Hello all
   
   I am looking for some input on what others are using for tee mix for new and/or renovated tee. In the past, we have used a 70-20-10 mix. Looking to try to possibly save money on mixes for tees.
   Different salesman from Mix companies have suggested other possible mixes such as 50-50, etc. The majority of my tees are push up. Any input is appreciated.
   We are a municipal Course, receiving about 40,000 rounds of Golf and generally will sod to short cut blue.

   I have a local company make our renovation tee mix using unscreened sand to make it a little cheaper. The raw sand they use is very clean and not to course (no stones), probably saves us 4 bucks a yard.

   We go with a 60- 20 -20 mix due to being in an open links style setting. Just feel the higher % of organic helps retain a little more moisture but doesn't effect playability.

   I inherited short cut blue and it is divot riddled...slow recovery almost painful. Also was laid on a sand mix...
