Looking for recommendations on soil moisture meters and canopy temperature readers. I don't have any experience with any of these tools and not really sure where to look. I know they can be expensive, but not to concerned with that to much if it's a good quality product. I've seen a few online, but not sure if they are any good for sand based greens especially when there are only a couple of reviews. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the link. They look like they are built well. How long have you been using them? Do you use any of those infrared thermometers. I have one for home, but don't think it would last at the golf course.

We use the TDR 100 from Spectrum Technologies. Really easy to use and about $800.

I use a cheap infrared thermometer ($30 or so from Amazon) to check canopy temps, it works well and has held up all season. They are cheap enough that I wouldn't be too concerned if it broke, I've got my moneys worth out of it for a season and I fully expect it will last a few more.

Thanks for the info Larry, it will make it easier to request some of these tools from our supervisor.
