Any of you that uses JUNCTION, have you mixed Daconil with it ever? Here in Canada, we do not have Junction, but do have just the copper portion of it, a product called Kocide. I'll do my jar test, but wanted to see if others have mixed the two. Thanks in advance.

I have used Junction several times, but I have found out that it is best to spray by itself. I have mixed it and every time have had issues with discoloring. Last time with iron and had almost a brown effect :( my advise is use it as a stand alone only, just to be safe.

    Hello David,

Kocide has the same active ingredient, copper hydroxide, that Junction has. Junction is 15% mancozeb and 46% copper hydroxide. One formula has Kocide on Dupont website as +/- 37% copper hydroxide, there are various formulae. You need to see whether these are w/w or weight by volume and also note the specific densities to make sure you get the right dosage.

The Kocide label mentions zinc and copper equivalents.??? Don't know where they get Zinc from copper hydroxide

Mancozeb is .9% zinc 7.4% manganese and 28.7% ethylene bisdithiocarvamate

    Daconil is 82% tetrachloroisophthalonitrile

Good luck, be careful and again watch out for w/w or w/v concentrations, and specific density

I wonder what the price difference is. I will whip some up if I come across moss for one of my clients.
