    Ladies and Gentlemen,

I'm just throwing out an overall question on how you all are operating your sulfur burner/generators? I believe I'm keeping the proper flow and pressure on the system, but I don't feel that I get the impact from it I thought I'd see. The pH isn't adjusting as rapidly as I'd expect, and I'm burning a hell of a lot more sulfur than I recall from years past. If it helps we have a 10 year old Aqua SO2. I know, they aren't even relevent anymore. Thanks in advance.

I have a Sulfur burner and it was recommended to change the Venturi every year and check the burner area and clean once a month, My burner is only a year old but I did replace the Venturi and we do clean it monthly. I run my burner at full pressure as recommended and it is doing a great job in a 8 million gal lake with treated water coming in with a pH of 8.5+ and we lower it 6.5 and maintain it with about 200 lbs a week. I receive about 300,000 gal a day from the treatment plant.

    Kyle,
You need to burn about 35 lbs of sulfur per meq L hco3 per acre ft. of water to lower Ph to near 6.5. The source of sulfur is critical I've seen sulfur with a 99.9 % pure label have enough impurities that it wouldn't burn hot enough. There is a good source near you. Also there are a couple critical elements that can hamper performance. I left you a voice mail with my number.
