I have been asked to give report on the state of the course. They are happy with the direction of the course just want me to state all areas of the course. I will use this to show progress, but also to show what needs to be done to make areas better. I have a pretty good feel as to what I'm going to do with addressing each area of the course and clubhouse grounds as well as infrastructure such as irrigation system, maintenance facility etc. I just was wondering if anyone out there could shoot me a copy of something similar just for me to get an extra idea or two from. Thanks in advance.

    Tim,

I don't have anything written to share but I do have a few suggestions. If you were not planning to already, use pictures via power point or even old fashioned poster board if necessary to illustrate what you are talking about. Members/players have no idea what is inside the pumphouse or usually our maintenance facility. For an icebreaker, have a contest (a sleeve of balls donated by the Pro Shop?) for who can closest guess the total number of irrigation heads on the property. Use the opportunity to educate them as to how much infrastructure, equipment and labor (their costs also) it takes to maintain a golf facility.

Customize to show what your needs are but also respectfully share the many positive things that I am sure you and your staff are accomplishing.

    Hope that helps a little.
