I am looking for the rates of MSMA, Sencor and Dismiss to add to a 10 gallon spot sprayer to control goosegrass. I saw it posted at 6 oz MSMA, 0.10 oz Sencor and 0.367 oz Dismiss. I am not sure how to measure 0.367 oz so I am thinking it may be 3.67 oz which would correspond with a 16 oz/Acre rate? Can anyone help me on this?
    Thanks!!!

Are you spraying this on greens for goosegrass? MSMA and Sencor can be a hot mix and spot spraying on closely mowed turf is not easy. Better have one good operator handling that wand or you could make a green look like a dalmation really quick. Have not added Dismiss to that potion. I have no idea of the amount of infestation but if not to severe you might want to try that mixture and applying with a small paint brush as dab......not sure using a wand how precise you can be on a green. Just an opinion from an old fart that has been dealing with goosegrass for 35 years.

Thanks for the reply Dave. I am only looking to spot spray goose in bermuda roughs. I applied Ronstar at 3# ai to all short-cut bermuda and have great control there. We had a tough year with goose last year and am seeing breakthrough in the roughs where I applied generic prodiamine due to cost.

The cocktail you mentioned is what I came up with a few years back. Works great and is good for just about any weed you spray it on. The rate is .367oz and is measured using the measuring device attached to the pint size of Dimiss South. Two teaspoons is roughly .33 ounces.

.10oz Sencor is just enough product to cover the bottom of the lid.

Trust me when I say do not overdo the Dismiss South. The .367 oz rate is all you need with the other two products.

Add a good spreader sticker and off you go. This is the mix I keep in my spot sprayer and use it all year.

It dings it a little if you overdo it. It is a hot mix, and therefor I wouldn't let just anybody spray it. Also great for Tropical Signalgrass. One shot, two at the most.

Please keep in mind I've never boomed sprayed this mix, only spot sprayed and usually first thing in the morning.

Signal grass is our biggest problem and so far MSMA Sencor has been the only thing that kills it, but the 419 doesn't like it much.

Andy, Thanks so much for the info. I am looking forward to giving it a try. I have 3 64 oz bottles of regular Dismiss in stock but no Dismiss South. Do you think the sulfentrazone alone is providing the synergy or the combo of the sulfentrazone and the 2nd active in D. South? I am willing to try regular Dismiss. One last question though...What type nozzle are you using, what spray pressure and how quick a "swipe" do you apply? Thanks again for the help!!!

Illoxan = 6oz. total = 10 gallon sprayer. One app. and all gone. We spray bunker noses and areas hard to reach.

I think the Sulfentrazone is whats giving it the kick. I've got a cone nozzle, probably 60 PSI, and a very quick spray. Doesn't take much. You can always add more later.

What are you going to do when you eventually run out of MSMA. Or is this mix in place of the MSMA?

I second that. It can be used safe on the closest mowed turf.

1 packet of Monument and 1.69 oz of Celsius with a little sticker in 20 gallons of H2O applied in the early morning. Goosegrass, crabgrass, dove weed, sedge, torpedograss, the list goes on.

You can also check out Bayer's new product, called Tribute Total. Label is attached.

It is a combination product consisting of Revolver, Celsius and Sedgehammer. I can't wait to get my hands on some, as I know each of these products works wonder on target weeds, and combined will allow the user to hit pretty much anything they see!

Andy beat me to it. I've heard the trial areas here in the Houston area are amazingly clean. It's a little expensive but if it works I dont care
