Slow Green up / pre-emerge Cancel The title field is required!

   My greens are have been greening up nicely and look good. Nice roots and rolling great. However, there are obvious lines up and down every green that are behind the rest of the turf. There is no damage or discolored plants, the lines are just behind. The lines appear to be spreader overlaps. They are on every green and go along the longest pass on each green. I have not applied anything since October other than lime, and just two weeks ago .5lb N. Although the lines were already visible when I applied the fertilizer.
   My question is, could a double rate of Dimension applied Oct. 1 affect green up in April? We saw no phytotoxicity last fall or any change in quality whatsoever until green up. I have Champion Bermuda in Little Rock. And have been using Dimension in the fall for the last few years with no issues. So I am not sure this is the problem, but I have no other feasible ideas.

   Did you cover a lot this winter? We did and I have a few areas a few weeks behind due to shade, but on those greens I also have lines. I also have squiggly lines as well as some covers were not pulled tight. For me it is the kind of covers we have. We have the heavy duty white fabric and our lines match up to where the covers were stitched together. All but 2 greens have grown out of it. We have also had a slow start to "Spring". I'm ready for 85 degrees! Maybe that is what you are seeing.

   Well, that was one of my thoughts but the lines that are behind are 1-3 feet wide. and don not always seem to line up with seams, although they are all in the same direction of the seams.
   Maybe.
   They are not bad, just not as good. Head scratching.

   Located in Newnan, just South of Atlanta. We covered a total of 30 nights this winter. We finally brought covers in and 4 days later a cold front moved in with 28 degrees. I'm Over it!
