Would like to use a CaSi product on the greens for a member-member event. This is new to me and the label does not contain much info. But my questions are how long does it last? can I spray this on the greens a few days ahead or should it be that morning? Lastly what is the best rate in order to see better ball roll?

Why would you use CaSi to get a better ball roll?

ive done it in the past. i wouldnt say it made a dramatic difference, but it was noticeable. It'll take a day or two to start to work and you'll get a couple days out of it. if your event is on the weekend, spray on wednesday and continue with your normal "speed" maintenance. you'll pick up about 6 inches.

We use it before big events in which we are rolling daily. I don't expect a speed increase out of it, rather just better stress tolerance to the rolling. I feel it lasts us about 5-7 days.

I have heard it stiffens the grass-blade.

We use Sili-Kal-B in our regular spray program. I do not have specific evidence (research of my own) that it speeds greens up. But always thought it couldn't hurt. Helps getting calcium in the plant for better stress reduction.

Basically the salesman who sold it said it would help so as one who would try anything once bought some.
probably won't use it again unless it would be for stress which i have many other produces for that.

I always used it before big events. When asked what I did I replied Bikini Wax. Generally two days before event. Picked up 6"- foot on speed.
