Signature irrigation products Cancel The title field is required!

   I have been using Signature irrigation D70 heads for fairways that were purchased from R&R products. I just got a phone call saying that some of the internal parts have been discontinued. It included the internal rotors and the bottom valve assembly and I would guess the other parts and the heads themselves have probably also been discontinued. Does anyone know anything about this and whether or not there is another replacement for the internal parts of these heads. I believe it was the old Bear heads that were then bought by John Deere and then Signature. I have a couple hundred heads in the ground that take these parts and only have a few replacements on hand at the moment. I am probably due for an upgrade but it's a big pill to swallow. Any thoughts or information would be appreciated.

   I remember reading somewhere else not too long ago somebody else having the same problem you are with the John Deere D70s, which are the same heads. I remember them saying they were having problems and were told parts are no longer available and they were having to switch out to either Toro, Hunter, or Rainbird. I would contact Signature Control Systems and see what they say. Here is the web link I found.
