   We have used it to spot treat on occasion, have used roller type applicator or dobbers to just touch poa, also have gone at light rates, a quart per acre. Or 1 to 1.5 oz per gallon of water spot spraying.
   
   Where we have had issues is with spot spraying and allowing too much on plant, having the run off drip down into the zoysia. Timing hasn't much mattered with over spray (there seems to always be some green deep down in canopy, altough the later the better, (like Feb is a popular time around here).
   
   I'm sure someone will have some better advice.

   Anytime after Jan. 1st. I use 24oz RU to the acre no issues. Try and be done with the application before March 1st. Most guys around here put Ronstar Flo in with their RU for their annual summer weed control. Good luck.

   Does that one application of Ronstar get you through the whole summer for crab and goose?
   
   What rate are you using?
   
   We have been using Barricaid, and after the thread last summer where some of the leading zoysia growers mention using Ronstar I'm looking into that as well.

   Absolutely. 1 gal. of Ronstar Flo per acre will get you season long control of goose. You want to make sure and get the product on your warm season turf surfaces before green up begins. It will burn the hell out of green turf. Guys around here are trying to time this application around the 1st full week of March. It also helps burn the poa you are trying to clean up with the round up as well. It will also lay there for a rain event nicely as well. Hope this helps. Good luck.

   Round Up Pro at 11-13 oz/acre with Ronstar 98 oz/acre(2.25 oz/M) average rate for my area in February depending upon turf/soil conditions. Have gone as late as first week of March when snow cover created issues but that is normally the latest. Yes, cost is almost double but largest acreage on course I treat and it is not really that much in total. Under $4K on 25-30 acres.

   That is a pretty light rate of Round Up Pro, it isn't the Maxx formulation is it? I have been using the Maxx formulation at 24 oz/acre. With the generic Ranger Pro I have been using 32 oz./acre Of course we are trying to clean up some of the rye grass too, but it usually doesn't kill that and my speculation is it's too cold and the rye grass doesn't pick up the Round up. Might have to try that this spring.

   High rate on fairway label is 16 oz, prosecutor pro/roundup pro. I'm usually after poa only. Probably go more toward 13 oz rate, 11 is a little low. Roundup Pro Concentrate is maximum 13 which is where I got that from.

    It does show a rate higher on regular turf but talks about highly maintained golf course turf at the 16 oz rate. Earlier labels I believe did mention fairway height turf. The rate would be more sensitive on zoysia than bermuda since it dormancy temperature is much higher than zoysia.
