I am a bit of history buff and love to restore old things, especially if they have some golf course significance. I came into being the new owner of a 1949 Worthington Tractor. As you can tell it needs a seat to make it original. My plans are to fully restore it. This particular tractor was one that operated back when I was a young man just starting out in the business. If you have a seat and want to part with it, I would be happy to purchase it and pay for shipping. Thanks

One place I would try is All States Ag Parts. They have a lot of inventory and if they don't have it and you cant find one I think the Allis WD 45 had different looking but similar to that era metal seat with 2 springs. These guys have 7 yards and save everything.

    Rick,

That is very cool to restore an antique tractor such as that! I love old cars have a 65 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S, just finished restoring it mechanically before my medical issues stopped me from finishing the final painting. I am soon to get it from Maryland to my new home in Chicago area and finish it's restoration! In fact it will be driven from Maryland here to Chicago early next month. Good luck on your restoration effort, I am sure you can find the parts, on line computer groups make life easier for such things. I have found many goodies for the cuda that way myself.
