I am looking for research on water usage reduction when using Turf Wetting agents. We are looking at a water bill that will surely go over $100K on a course where my total budget is under $500K, for eighteen holes. Not watering fairways is not an option according to management. I started using Revolution on greens with great success but other than that I've used some cheap penetrants on tees and fairways with some benefit. Would like to see some kind of a break down on how much reduction in water usage I could expect using wetting agents on a larger scale. Issue utilities are part of overall budget and this includes water for irrigation, just would like to have an idea how much to move to the chemical budget to cover extra wetting agent costs and what savings can be expected.
