    Hello from Northern Ohio,

Spring is here and we have some motivated crew members that don"t mind working in the rain and nasty elements. We are looking to supply them with good rain gear that hopefully doesn't cost $200. In the past we've all used either our old golf raingear, or whatever uncomfortable old gear we find upstairs. Any thoughts are appreciated!

    Thanks
    Mark

Check out Gempler's. They offer several types to choose from. All price ranges.

I use Carhartt Storm Defender for rain pants and jacket. Have yet to get wet through it, even after being in a downpour for hours on end.

Hand them each a Hefty Lawn and Garden bag and tell them to quit whining.

Heck during a Bucs/Chiefs game in the early 80's we paid at least $3 for garbage bags and they were the cheap ones, not the good Hefty Lawn and Garden bags.

I'm sorry Mel, but admitting that you went to a Bucs game qualifies you as a masochist.

Especially back in the those days. Grew up a Chiefs fan too. But hey if I can be a Royals fan since 69, I can handle being a Bucs fan when they fill the roster with Noles.

I was able to get my staff some nice Nike suits from one of the vendors our pro uses at a very good price, it was a better suit and cheaper price than gemplers so you may want to look at that option.

I did get staff rain gear for myself, the Storm Fit with our staff logo, I think this year through our pro they are right at $90 if I remember? I wonder if you were able to get a different model? I know I also order my staff shirts through this program and this year they are $23 with the logo.

I just ordered Work Wear for my staff from Loft 8 http://loft8.ca/. They were at the GIS. The waterproof rain gear is $120 + a 30% discount for spending over $3500. I bought shirts and rain gear for my staff from them. We tested out the rain gear first and the quality seems pretty good (they sent me several samples). My contact is Kirk Fallgatter 206-71304040 kirkmf@hotmail.com . A few days after placing the order I got a call from the companies owner thanking me for the purchase.

I use Frogg Toggs and they are the best I've ever seen for the price. Under $80. They are unbelievably waterproof and light weight. The guys love them.

We did get some pretty good rain gear that has lasted us from Golden West (yes that Golden West), for under $40. It was the CLC brand they carried. Granted we aren't out in the rain much, but so far so good.
