Well, when it rains, it really does pour. Got more rain (2.6") in one morning yesterday than the entire year! Bizarre, but we'll take it. Maybe there's something to this "godzilla" el nino they're talking about after all. Anyway, felt compelled to dig up an old Iron Maiden cd and crank up (to '11') Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner so I could celebrate the coming of the rain! After a couple years of drought and a summer of water restrictions I am really empathising with that mariner dude.
