I'm getting a VFD alarm as well as a pressurization alarm, twice now these alarms shut the pumps down. I think or thought it might be because of heat in the small enclosed pump station. (high evening temps), I set the max output from 600GPM down to 500GPM, still got both alarms but the station did not shut down. I have a 20HP pump ran by the VFD and my 2nd pump a 30HP controlled by an electronic butterfly valve.

Enough info for someone to weigh in? The alarms start about 30 minutes into an irrigation cycle.

I would not think it would be the heat unless the fan to the vfd is broken. I have had this happen to me on my pump station. Grainger sells a fan I presume for drying carpet they you can get an extension tube for it. The extension tube fits perfectly over my fan cover and keeps the vfd cool.

Check the cooling fan and the water feed into the main panel.

Also, make sure the filter behind the vent is clean if you have one.

You may want to check all your electrical connections to make sure they are tight.

Had this happen a few weeks ago, took a lightning hit on the electrical line, shorted one of the circuits. One of the pumps was running on one leg, and therefore turning the wrong way. Something to check

Doug- We had the same problem and I took out a window and put in thermostat controlled wall fan with vents on it and cut hole at floor level on opposite side of pumps. It pulls the cooler ground level air across the pumps. Solved our problem.
