I will be using the "Anderson's"9-0-18 w/.164% Dithiopyr this season. As with all
"Bentgrass" pre-emergent herbicides, always some risk. I will do the split application. I do have more of Crabgrass issues than I have with Goosegrass. I did ask my rep about certain Bentgrass varieties that it's not labeled for forst. I have Penncross on the front 9 and Seaside on the back 9. The Seaside variety is not labeled for this product. I have spoke with several Super's that have used this product on Seaside with No adverse effects. However it can stunt back and retard the growth of poa annua. My decision to try this product was a (more open window) to apply it since it does have pre and post emergent properties. I'm in the top of the panhandle of Tx, and this time of the year, Spring transition here is like Menopause....We were 80 degrees for a high Wednesday with possible freezing rain and snow for Thursday thru Saturday. I aerate greens 2nd wk in April because my Greens go dormant here and I'm NOT at the mercy of the powers at be to do it before it should be done. This will give more of an edge on the crab since when I do aerify and soil temps are in the TANT

area for germination,I can still get it before and or it hits the 3 leaf stage.
