Looking for feedback on this hole cutter. Currently using HIO and want to make a change. Quality has severely gone down hill and it's constantly breaking. What are your thoughts good or bad? Looks very simple and easy to use. Thanks in advance!

I do not have practical experience with the Precision model but I am also intrigued by the i-Pro model, https://www.bmsproducts.com/collections/holecutters-1/products/ipro. The i-Pro model is more pricey but it appears to have better engineering and more user friendly - just an observation from watching videos.

We've used the Precision for 4 years now, replaced blades and bushings once. Love them on sand based greens, not great on heavy soil. They are less cumbersome to deal with than the HIO and process is just a little more efficient as far as speed of the job and weight of tool. Had a guy get a back injury cutting with a HIO, so moved away from them.

I was intrigued by the new i-Pro cup cutter from across the pond but $1500 was steep last year, price down near $1000 after quote for 3 cutters. Also kind of loud operation from the youtube video and heavy like the HIO. Still might bite the bullet eventually on i-Pro just because it mimics the cup cutters I used in the early nineties that disapeared for some reason. Anyone recall the name of those cutters? They had the foot ejection on either side but looked like the i-Pro... I thought it was "Precision" but not sure. precisionusa.com actually sells the i-Pro so maybe a correlation there.

Anyone using the Shole Hammer hole cutter from TACIT??? Saw a demo of this last year in Orlando. Looked to be an efficient unit. Price was about $1000 if I remember correctly.
