I'm assuming that you mean post emergent. Answers will vary across the country and even a state. But, with that said I am able to use glyphosate at 16-20 ounces per acre this time of year with little to no damage to the Bermuda rough. There are so many variables to your question that it is impossible to give you a "best" answer. Budget, climate, location and so many more factors influence the decision but for me and my situation glyphosate works great and year after year I see no negative effects of the applications on my turf. At $3.50 per acre it sure is easy on the budget also. Works great for me!

Simazine 1.5 qts. per Acre with .75 to 1 lb of prodiamine and you will be clean as a whistle!

Sorry, post control in Alabama. Temperature is still to warm to spray round up. Going to try revolver at 12 oz per acre.

I took Yelverton and McCarty's seminar last winter. I thought Xonerate was all the rage? Too expensive? Kenneth Ingram, UMD.

I agree with using simazine at 1-2 qts. / Acre. Just do not spray it uphill of any cool-season areas you want to keep as it will run. Unfortunately, I had to learn this the hard way.

I believe that they are talking about using Xonerate on bermudagrass collars surrounding bentgrass greens.

dear all , in Spain we are into some new regulations that dont allow us to buy /use none of the herbides you spoked on the forum. I am testing Roundoup for cleaning poa but in my area in the canary island Bermudagrass dont get really into dormancy in winter , just slow down due to lower sun radiation levels. I have being trying Roudoup ( 36% glyphosate) from 8 to 16 0z/acre and on rough there is no discoloration and poa suffers. I also tank mix it with Dicamba amd ioxinil + MCPA to a broader broadleaf expectrum control. Bermuda suffers more or less the same . Michael (Holt) at what temperatures do you considered bermudagrass is growing ok that will suffer the Roundoup application? Is you application of which % of roundoup?can you help me on your experience thanks in advance to all , and sorry for my english, regards, Eugenio

I use Revolver at 16oz / Ac in a split app 7 days apart, but that's just around greens. The heat here usually takes the Poa out soon enough.

    Steve
