Just would like to hear thoughts on how people use part circle heads on greens. Particularly in upper transition zone with bent grass greens and fescue green banks. Zoysia approaches.

    Thanks!

I've been slowly converting to part circle block heads on our greens, just set to the greens and the surrounds fend for themselves. We have bent greens and bermudagrass everywhere else. From what we've seen it allows for more uniform coverage on the greens, in fact greens that we struggled to keep the moisture right in due to ridges and edges have improved dramatically. Shorter run times for sure which more than anything keeps the surrounds drier and firmer. Just my experience with the 6 greens we've installed part circles on. We're converting to bermudagrass this summer and plan to install more heads when we do.
