    Hi all,

I have just installed one brand new Par+ES Retro Kit to replace a SBM 1230 clock. Everything is working fine on it except for the Maxi module is not responding to the 2 wire. It definitely has power to the plug.

Also replaced an old Par+ES faceplate with a refurbished one. Had to replace the Power Interconnect Module on that control box. Everything is working fine on that box now too. Except for the box is not responding to Maxi.

They are both on different wire paths, so I don't see an issue there. My old SBM 1230 boxes are communicating, any troubleshooting tips?

    Thanks!

Did you assign the location number on the new and replaced face plate for that controller location? Easy to miss easy to fix

Todd, Thanks so much! I did forget to do that, it had been so long since we had installed that first Par+ES that I didn't remember it. It did work for the new face plate on the retro kit. Funny I forget sometimes to change the switches on the SBM1230's when I switch clocks out.

It did not work on the refurbished faceplate. I don't know if ants got into the Maxi module, or I wonder, the breakers for both the new retro kit and the old Par+ES are in the same box, and we accidentally turned off the old Par+ES breaker and flipped it back on again. That is when we noticed the Power Interconnect Module went bad. Could have been the ants in that as well? I am going to order a new Maxi module, even if I get the other fixed, it wouldn't be bad to have one spare now that we have a couple Par+ES. So if there are any suggestions to troubleshoot the Maxi module please share.

    Thanks!

    Mel
