So...the plan is to replace the pump station this year. It still works fine but it's too small for the course upgrade in 2017. Have you ever heard of or have you ever had any luck selling a used pump station?

It's a Synchroflow Eagle. 2 60hp motors with a 5 horse pm pump. All the controls were rebuilt last year.

Who's putting in the new one?

If you can't find a buyer I'll drive down and take it off your hands :D

Milo is putting in the new one and he says it basically has no value.
If I can't sell it, I may take the motors off for spares and salvage as much of the rest of it as I can but I'm finding it difficult to believe that you can't sell one.

Not sure who Milo is. I primarily use Citrus 7. You could always give Bob Houle a call and see if he thinks there is any value or use. Using the motors as spares can work, but you might want to check on proper storage for them so you don't get any moisture build up in them while they are sitting around or it could damage them.

Congrats on the rebuild/upgrading you're doing. I'm jealous.

I think you can still sell anything you want to in this country, as long as there's a market for it.

    Milo is Metro PSI.
If we keep the motors, we will store them on power.
Finding the market is the tough part, there doesn't seem to be anyone dealing in used pump stations.

I am still sitting on our old pump station that we took out in 2008. Motors are stored indoors with skid and panel outside. Had a neighbor course use some of the pressure switches. I have plans of turning the pressure tank and skid into a smoker/grill!

Well, we got the design back today and it looks like we'll be using 2-75hp motors instead of 3 - 60's so the whole works is for sale. Keith, if you want it, let me know.

Yeah, Milo is still the man. The best service in the country, I wouldn't consider letting anyone but him do it.

I couldn't afford it....hell, I'm struggling to keep my old RainBird Par + hydraulic system running. Now if you have any parts for that I'll come and remove them myself!

You might be able to get it for the cost of shipping. Stay in touch.
