any suggestions on bentgrass varities that might be used in the transition zone? I am currently evaluating T1, Tyee,
OO7 and Pure Distinction. I will replace one of these with a new one growing on both USGA and California construction greens profiles. North Texas= Southern Okla.

In central Alabama, AU Victory seems to be a good one. I've interseeded it into some historically troubled areas with success. It is very heat tolerant and quick to establish.

Here in Dayton Ohio, I use the Dominant Extreme 7 and have been very happy with it. It includes varieties like 007, SR1150, Flagstick, and Tyee. Dominant Extreme 7 has quick germination and establishment, better disease resistant, and has done very well during the heat of the summer. Here is a link about the Dominant Extreme 7.

T1 here in Cincinnati area and love it. Greens were reseeded 5 years ago and still minimal Poa intrusion. I call it the warm season Bentgrass and has been an excellent fit for us.
