Visually the greens were better. We did the program again the second year but it was hard to say what actually was working. We continued with MultiGuard and Curfew apps those years while using the NeoTec. Once Avid became labeled for greens, we started using it as well. Basically, if it is/was labeled for Nematodes, we were/are using it in a program.
Our current program(yes, it's costly):
Spring - Nortica
March and into April - MultiGuard at 8gal/ac followed by 5.5gal/ac every 21 days for three applications.
May - Avid or Curfew depending on aerification schedule
June - Opposite of above
July - typically nothing
August and into September - MultiGuard at 8gal/ac followed by 5.5gal/ac every 21 days for three applications
September - Avid
October - Nortica
Dr. Crow has some trials going on with a similar program/methodology of our program. I don't know the results, but all claim to control nematodes alone, so in combination there should be even more.
Steve Wright down in Boca posted a photo on Twitter the other day of a great looking green that has had the NeoTec program on it for years. From what I've gathered, those that have been on the program for many years have virtually zero Nematode issues.
We used our last bag of Nemacur last week, so looking forward to the glimmer of hope in the next year or so on new options.
