While having lunch with some fellow superintendents we touched on the topic of growth regulators on greens. One uses Primo/with Cutless and the other uses Primo/TGR (for you younger folks, that would be Paclobutrazoll, us that was first introduced to it by Scotts remember it as TGR, others I'm sure know it as Trimmit by Syngenta and others as Turf Enhancer by Scotts or Andersons). Any way, while looking up to see updated labels I came across Musketeer from SePRO that has Primo, Cutless and Trimmit, it just made me curious if anyone is using it and how it was working for them.
Both guys I talked with were able to extend applications out to two weeks with their combinations, while I was going out every week with my Primo due to the 200 growing degree days issue.
On a side note, and maybe this is for talking politics thread? noticed my old Syngenta label of Trimmit said it was a product of the United Kingdom, the new label, a product of China. Andersons says theirs is a product of the United Kingdom packaged in the United States. Yea I get sidetracked by the oddest things.
