I believe that his an architect of sorts. I've had my fair share of banter on twitter regarding the same topic. Bentgrass is fine and dandy with the populations are right. When you have a bunch of courses that are 30+ years old, in most causes, the poa population is 90%+. Supts didn't have the tools to maintain for bent 30 years ago. Many of those courses do not have the luxury to close and regrass. They don't have the money. It is already bad enough their season is a month behind. Regrassing is not an option for most in a seasonal climate.
