Any smart ideas on how to get rid of some 20 year old junk equipment (Sand Pro, 2 small tractors, 2 cushmans, hydroject & a meter matic topdresser) Most need parts that cost more than they are worth.

    Thanks Mike in central Florida
PS I work work for Club Corp

Turn in for scrap. Enough for a good crew BBQ. Might want to check with your regional, Bill, first. I'm sure he will help you out.

Cal Gary @ C&L Equipment. 813-238-0956. He might want to buy it all and sell for parts. Or, list it on here and maybe help someone out that could use them for parts.

Otherwise, scrap it. Just be sure to strip any non-metal items, fuel tank or hydraulic tanks off of them first.

That's a lot of scrap equipment. Might be expensive for parts but could you get 2 or 3 years out of a couple of them if you invested a little $. Would be cheaper than a new lease or loan... Unless you don't have a fit for them in your program then scrap em.

How do you determine when enough is enough?

Meaning where is the breaking point of fixing a unit versus replacing all together with new. Seems like sometime we only look at parts cost and don't really factor in all the labor costs with current and future repairs.
