So we purchased a used 3245C John Deere last summer. A good unit for a fair price and it cuts great.
However, the front rollers assemblies were wore out and I posted a question earlier about rebuilding these or
using the JD 8800 system for replacement. Anyways, the price to replace the entire front roller was over $250 each!
Yes, they were that bad. So I was ordering parts for our Toro 3100 when I can across the 3.5" 2 section plastic roller assembly from R&R # R150330 for $90 each. I got to wondering would these fit? Yes, so we are going to try those. All we have to do grind down a flat area on the shaft to seat into the bracket. I can't figure out to post a picture but I will let you all know how it works out.
