One of the results of a recent storm was a break in the mainline that runs under the cart path. The piling that the main line was attached to was knocked out. My first thought was the pipe was separated at the coupling where the insulated pipe goes back to standard pvc. After a dusty afternoon of cutting out the section of cart path that was attached to the bridge, it was discovered that was not the case. Now I believe the weight of the pipe and piling and current pulled the first section of pvc out of the next. The plan now is to cut only the half of the cart path the main line is under and continue to work my way back until I find the break.

Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated.

Can you open up the irrigation pipe? You could rent a sewer camera to view the inside of the pipe and see if you can see a crack or pipe separation. Our local rental company rents sewer cameras that can reach 200'.

Thanks Christian, I cut through 2 more sections of cart path and as I suspected, the next joint simply pulled out. A little tweaking and we were able to get the 2 sections back together.
