Just curious to know flow rates, psi and water windows being used on irrigation systems. I know there are alot of variables but any numbers would be appreciated. Thanks, KIM

One pump station is 1650 gpm at 110 psi discharging into a 12" main that splits to each side at 10". Smallest mainline around the course is 8" with 2.5" laterals. Water window of about 9 hours when we increase flows to 600k gallons a day.

Our reuse pump station is 4,800 gpm at 120psi and supplies two golf courses and miles of roadway landscaping. This dumps into a 16" feeder main that distributes to each area. The 16" main dumps into a 14" on one course and a 12" on the other and also into a 6" for the landscaping. Since we could be on reuse for a few hours and switch to wells in the middle of the night, our watering window and programs don't change when the source does.

That being said, our South course that was built in 1982 can pump a whopping 650 gpm at 100 psi and takes about 10 hours to apply 400k gallons.

Winter window 10 pm-6am water usually done by 3am-5am. Anywhere from 150,000 gal. - 275,000 gal. per night Water permit allows me to water up to 325,000 gpd averaged over 356 days, no more than 723,000 peak in a 24 hour period.

Our pump station is 1650 GPM at 126psi. We water 'deep and infrequent' and do not rely on daily ET measurements. The watering window varies depending on what area is scheduled for irrigation that particular evening, anywhere from 3-10 hours.
