I am looking for some feedback on the no dig, irrigation head leveling systems like LevelLift and Level-EEZ.

More trouble than they are worth. Buy a good shovel and get with it.

Didn't know there was any other way, other than to use a shovel.

Levelift worked great for me on very hard soil. I was able to do a hole a day and leave no evidence that anything had been disturbed. You dig up a few chunks of Zoysia and you'll be looking at that repair forever. Sandy soil is different, and you will get wet using it, but for me it was the difference between having level heads or not. You do have to have actual schedule 80 swing joints as well. Once you get good at it, you can literally level a head in around 10 minutes and the soil will set back up in a day or so. It really sucked when you dug one up, it didn't look good after, and then a golfer rolled over it in a cart and ruined the job. That was an hour wasted for a job that already looked bad and still had to be done over. If that happens with the levelift, (and it rarely did) it takes even less time to do it again. You have to give it a chance, (I've already had the argument with Steve), but it does work very well and it is very fast once you get the hang of it. That is as long as you don't melt when you get wet!!

Once you get a feel for them they are great. Note: I have only used one in South/Central Florida where it is mostly sand.

Thank you for all of the replies. We host an early spring Web.com tournament and I was looking for a way to avoid the sod seam issues of digging a head up. Too busy with Bentgrass greens and short staffed in the summer to level heads.
