We are going to be installing some lighting to to front entrance of the club this month. I am considering using the low voltage lighting with a 600 watt transformer for additional lighting in the following years. Does anyone have experience with this type of lighting or should I just use 110 directly to each light?

I'm no expert, but in my experience it depends on the effect you are going for. Personally, I like the flexibility of low voltage, you can save plenty on operating cost with LED's, and they have come a long way with the fixtures and effects available.

We have had to run more power over the years. Go with 600, you never know what you'll want or need down the road. We have added tree lights, Christmas lights and upgrades to our automatic gate. There are so many great, energy conscious bulbs and fixtures available now that that should be easy to solve.

If you plan on expansion in the future its amps you need to consider.

We have switched out many of our sign lights with LED. But, still have run 110v to the location, them stepped down with a transformer. That way you still have 100 when you need it for other uses. The LED works great, but still doesn't look like traditional lighting. Where you once had one fixture, you might need two-three.
