One thing I have discovered managing golf course maintenance operations for nearly 30 years, is that there are no problems that come along that cannot be fixed with a phone call.

Also Joe, just an FYI....typing in all caps in a posting of any kind is the same as shouting at the top of your lungs in real life. :)

If you can't get a Toro Tech out there, somethings wrong. There Awesome in my part of the world. I'm an NSN user and they've save my #@* several times.

Heck if I had those problems I think I would have been shouting at the top of my lungs too.

Did you check all the connection points in the office and the field to make sure the communication cable to securely connected to all points? Additionally, do you have splices in the field? If so, are they secure?

You may need to reconfigure your field controllers. The best advice is to call your local Toro representative to either walk you thru the process or they can possibly send a field tech to your course.

    Good luck.

    Joe,

Have you run a "self test" on any satellites?

I have just done a self test and it was ok. I do not have nsn and the toro office around here closed. I have checked all conections and replaced cables to the comp. from lcm. I will try andys phone # to toro next. I appreciate all the help you guys are giving me! Ask toro no help because i do not belong. They said it sounds like a computer problem. I am taking computer to my computer guy but he said he's not sure where to start. I will update if i have any results.

    Hi Joe,

It's a long-shot but you might try a new battery in your PC since you are having trouble setting the time. If the battery is bad it throws the BIOS off.

I think BIOS battery also if computer won't keep correct time. Most of them are a CR2032 Lithium Ion Coin battery. Can last anywhere from 2-10 years. Usually tend to go bad if computer sits off for an extended period.

    Joe,

I'd have him start with a new computer. From our conversation, it sounded like you need a new one. And they come with a new battery.

    Good luck.

Have you tried rebooting the computer?

Also turn off and reboot the LCM. You may have to do a manual download before things will work.
