Greens Mowing lines on Tifeagle on winter... Cancel The title field is required!

   We have Tifeagle greens and with the winter temps here on Orlando , Fla there is not much growth and not enough leaf surface to have some dew. The mow lines are really difficult to see which gives all our guys a really hard time. We walkmow our greens. Just wondering if anybody has any new ideas about this....thx.
   We also roll a couple of days instead of mowing. The problem is on the days we mow.

   Depending on the type of mower that you use, if you can get the GreensPerfection or similar counter-rotating groomer brush, it really makes a difference in creating stripes on bermudagrass greens. I had not been running our brushes most of the winter, and started using them a couple of weeks ago, and it has made a huge difference in making it easier for the guys to see. The greens also have a much better look, and roll. The counter-rotating works if you are running John Deere, or have the new counter-rotating groomers that Toro came out with last year (what we have).

   once we go dormant we just roll the greens are like we will be doing this weekend we will just whip them or use a backpack blower to clean them off. If you are not cutting grass there is really no reason to use a mower on them.
