Working on obtaining one right now. Stationary unit, just the fan alone is about $7300.

Purchased 2 portable units last fall and they were 12,500/ea. The previous stated price for stationary is accurate and I looked into them but the cost to run the power was putting us at the same price as the portable. Used the portables for about 2 weeks this past summer, like the ability to move around as well as put away in shed when not using. Generator is a little loud, but gotta do what you gotta do.

about $7500 for the fan and about the same amount for setting up the additional hardware needed to run the fan.

    Michael,

I have seen these fans used before and they work rather well. We installed the footing ourselves just had someone come and do the electrical work.

If noise is an issue due to houses, Precision makes a very quite one that does the trick. The installation is easy, just make sure your electrical supply is adequate and whether your single phase or 3 phase at source. the cost for ours was about 12-13 k all in but we did electrical installation as well as fan install. This was in a location where quite operation was critical so we also purchased the VFD to run at lower speeds in the evening and if you need a fan, you need to run it at night, probably more important to run at night than during the day anyway. Makes a huge difference in a challenging micro climate. Good luck and call Andy at Precision, he can help with all the logistics.

We bought two portable fans from Precision USA a few years back. Roughly $12500/ea. Fan is run by a generator mounted on the trailer but due to the long run we would need with electric, this was the most cost effective method. Plus gives me the ability to put away when not needed. Only negative is the noise from the generator, but it isn't that bad.

You can put a sound shield around the generator.

We used Patterson Fans (2) off of a generator. They were very helpful in the decision for what would be best for us. http://www.pattersonfan.com/

We mounted them on high poles (flood plain) and they have been in about 15 years.
