Flex21 - 11 blade vs' 14 balde? Cancel The title field is required!

   For those of you who have used both 11 & 14 blade reel Toro Flex21's have you noticed any substantial difference in quality of cut? If so, what? And last but not least, would you recommend using a 14 blade reel over an 11 blade?

   I'ts hard for me to quantify the difference but I'll put it this way. We set up one machine with a 14 blade reel and the other with an 11 blade reel and they each mowed half of the same green. It was obvious from the first couple passes which had the better cut. Through the day the difference grew even greater.
   
   I did not take the time to stimp different areas of the green but the obvious difference in color convinced me. Every machine I bring in for the greens will now have 14 blades.

   Just leased 4 Toro flex 21 greensmowers and found I can mow roughly 1/10" inch higher than the 11 blade reel and keep the same green speed. I definitely can see a better quality of cut.
