    Hey guys,

I am without a weather station and was wondering if there are any websites or spreadsheets to calculate ET loss for the day. I am just looking to obtain a general number to help me gauge my irrigation cycles as I am beginning to water using amount (ET) instead of minutes.

    Thanks,

    Andrew,

Short of doing some pan evaporation work... in Arizona, we have the AZMET network of weather stations around the state. We can go to their website and see the ET information and use it accordingly... maybe something similar in your neck of the woods?

    Andrew,

It is by no means perfect but, the link below is a good starting point for calculating ET. I hope this helps.
