I've used Primo on Ryegrass in the past and had that down well but I have recently moved to Bermuda grass and still have a lot to learn.
I wanted to get your thoughts on foliar fertilizer & Primo MAXX mixes for Tiffway 419 fairways. I was looking to use the following mix:

    Iron at 2.2 lbs/acre (6% Fe)
    Potasium Nitrate at 18 lbs/acre
    Primo MAXX at 10 floz/acre

I was looking to do it at a 2 week intervals.

    Thanks!

2 weeks is not neccesary. Go to 12 oz and spray every 3 - 4 weeks

    Thanks Steve,

What fertilizer mix do put with that? Iron? Urea? Potassium?

Uflexx @ 5lbs/acre, redox Fairway @ 4lbs/ac, 12-14oz primo/acre sprayed every 4 weeks is my program for bermuda. Those products may not be available to you do I would say use a slow release N source coupled with some K, a little P and a good shot of a complete micro package. I get no burn doing this and no discoloring. You might consider using Magnesium instead of iron. It is much more effective for a longer period of time.
If you can get Redox, you wont need any granular, just a monthly spray.

    Steve

I'll second Steve's program. Works extremely well. I'm running very similar sprays on my fwys. Very pleased with the results/cost.

The Redox Presentation is pretty convincing. I have been using the Rx Supreme with Uflexx, Primo and whatever else we are spraying on greens. I am happy with it and intend to continue to use it, but we are still making granular apps, although about a third of what we did before.

If you have a granular program that is working for you and you cant get Redox, stick with what youve got, man. I used to spray primo at 12oz all the time by itself with no burn. Good luck.

I'm another huge fan of Redox Rx Fairway but my old standby has always been a simple 15 or 12-0-0 w/6% Iron product like Ferromec, etc. at 1 gallon/acre with Primo on bermuda. Cheap and effective.

I start the year at .375" from March to June, then .450-.500", then .650-.700" in September/October. Dormant from Nov to March.
