We have had the Ozone units in our lakes for nearly 12 years. We are beginning to experience challenges throughout the system, primarily in the pumps and connecting parts. Has anyone else experienced this and are there any potential alternatives to this system.

Mike McGee from EP Aeration is a very good technician. His equipment creates a lot of O2 at low cost and he has been at it for 20 odd years turning over the water with his diffusion system and has solid reputation.

What is the Langelier Index ( corrosivity ) of your irrigation water? Langelier is a logarithmic function of pH, TDS, temperature, calcium, and bicarbonates. When it is too far negative it will corrode heavily and when it is too far above 0 it will deposit carbonate species in your irrigation system and heads. A very corrosive water may shorten life of system.

There are a couple of other companies. If you send me an email I will dig them out.
