I recently sprayed dismiss at 6oz/acre. It is the highest rate I've ever used. Well shocker, I got some serious burn. You think would kill or grow out? Rye/KBG/poa cut at 2.5". Maybe I should spray some sort of fertilizer to help push it?

What does the weather forecast look like for the next week? I think that will have a lot to do with if it dies or grows out. Fertilizer probably wouldn't hurt at this point.

We have experienced the same scenario with Dismiss last season in the rough. Quit using. Great success with Prosedge by Nufarm and no burning of desirable turf. Dismiss did stunt growth, but eventually grew out of it. Did not use any fertilizer to enhance recovery. Located in Cincinnati.

We've experienced burn from Dismiss at varying rates and temperatures/weather conditions. Even with iron or micros in the tank. Every time it has just grown out of it after a week or two depending on the weather.

I doubt it will die. One year our guy spraying didn't turn on the GPS and the rate probably nearly doubled on the areas sprayed. We ended up spraying some fertilizer on those areas and it came back in about two weeks.
