Curious to know if anyone is using/experimenting with desalinated seawater as a nutrient source for greens.

Tony, RO strips most everything from water. Here is seawater through RO

EC = .675 mmhos / cm or dS / m Not a good nutrient source.

    Ionic S ds = 0,0087
    Sample # & Name Log I s = -2,0605
    meq/lt ppm Log2HCO3= -0,963787827
    Sodium 4,65 106,95 Log ( X ) = 0,61
    Potassium 0,154 6,01 Bridge1 = 1,83613492
    Calcium 0,4 8,02 Bridge2= 1,83613492
    Magnesium 0,99 12,04 Ca x = 0,726840344
    Ammonia 0 0,00 Rna = 5,02

    SAR 5,58
    Chloride 3,75 133,13 RSC 0,45
    Sulfate 0,375 18,00 SAR adj 4,88

Yes...and then you have the Nutrient Control ;) However, it's counter productive for Paspalum to remove sodium.
