    anybody know of where I could get depreciation values for a golf course?? I don,t know if gcsaa has anything like this or not. Looking for depreciation of land, irrigation, equipment ect. Thanks in advance

    I believe the IRS considers us "agriculture" in terms of depreciation.

    Here's a list of depreciations terms:

    Agriculture is in appendix b table b2 about 3/4 the way down the page. Either 7 or 10 years.

    If you know the original cost, your accountant can then apply the correct depreciation schedule based on the life expectancy. A good resource was a chart put out from the American Society of Golf Course Architects a few years ago which is attached.
