At present I use a metal drag mat to work in topdressing on greens and a homemade drag brush. The metal mats need replacing, any benefits of using the Core Buster drag mat to work in topdressing on greens? Would this be a good double duty tool, breaking up cores on fairways/rough and work in greens topdressing?

Haven't tried to work topdressing in but it does well breaking up cores. Quick tip if you get one...do not hang on a wall as it will stretch the plastic out. Only takes a few minutes to break down into stackable pile.
