Has anyone used a RFP (request for proposal) to put a construction project out to bid? Going to do a greens core out and re-build next year and was wondering if anyone out there has a RFP template or something I could use as an example. Is it common to use a RFP for this type of project?

    Thanks,
    Brent

I have one expressly for this purpose and will send it to you when I return to work. I am at home with the flu at the moment. I did not re-core my USGA Greens though. I had a company do soil tests to determine how much to remove and how much sand to add. The result completely met USGA Specs, but they have not done as well as our practice green that was completely re-done.

Hey Scott, I would like to see that RFP as well please. I have written several but it is always good to look at others to see if i am missing something.

    Thanks
    Kerry

    Brent,

I'll e-mail you a few things we have done in the past few years that may help.

    Scott,

I have not been on the site for a while but I would be interested in seeing you RFP as well. We are looking into rebuilding some of our greens.

    Thanks,

    Scott
