   Trying to get info from anyone who has tried adding compost to improve their rootzone. By improve I mean to help it buffer stress. Allow it to hold more nutrients, moisture, withstand nematodes etc. We are looking to renovate and incorporate compost. Thanks

   Anything you can do to improve the soil will help. Just make sure it's high quality. I bought some compost one time that I swear was loaded with crabgrass, as we had a huge outbreak the following year only in the treated areas.
