I am on a golf course in southwest Idaho. The course has five ponds (about 1 mile of shoreline). The ponds have steep banks (mostly mowed turf to the water) and move relatively high volumes of water. Since construction (15 years old), we have struggled with collapsing banks. Unfortunately, the problem seems to be getting worse. Has anyone employed effective and cost efficient strategies to repair and secure pond banks?

Thanks for your help, Darryl Glinski

Justin VanLanduit out of Chicago has completed some impressive pond bank enhancement at his club over the past couple of years. Check out his blog below using koir logs. http://www.nedia.com/coconut_fiber.html

I went to a seminar that was hosted by Propex. They demonstrated the various uses for there product(s). I was really impressed with their anchoring system and ease of install. I don't have any first hand experience though.
